Maggie Munday Odom is a 17-year-old playwright, poet and performer. She lives in Garmisch, Germany and attends boarding school in Madison, Connecticut. Her work has been recognized by the National Endowment for the Arts, The New York Times, the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, the Blank Theatre, the Writopia Lab Worldwide Plays Festival and the Eugene O’Neill Theatre Center. Her plays have been produced by professionals in New York City and Los Angeles, as well as in the O’ahu Fringe Festival and in international virtual theatrical events. Maggie Munday has served on the Jane Goodall Institute’s United States National Youth Leadership Council and is a certified yoga instructor. During her fellowship with IHRAF, she is running a 10-minute playwriting festival, Our Rising Voices, activating youth playwrights from around the world.
